For only the second time in Catz Club history we present a rematch! Zara and BB met only one week ago for the first ever cobra pin catfight, but at the end they both wanted another shot at each other... And so, a week later they one again stepped back into the ring to face off for another cobra pin catfight - but, as the pre-fight interviews demonstrate - both catfighters had a point to prove!

The rules for Cobra Pin Catfight were as follows... The girls were allowed to punch each other anywhere below the neck, but also allowed to grapple each other to the floor. In addition to their first match, both girls had received wrestling training so were allowed to use holds and moves such as scissors, nelsons, grapevines etc. Punching was allowed to continue on the floor and the winner would be decided by either the most number of pins or submissions throughout the 5 x 2-minute rounds. A submission counts when one girl shouts quit (when either pain or fatigue is too much) and a pin is counted when the opponents shoulders are pinned to the floor for a count of 3 as judged by our referee.

  

From the outset BB looked more sprightly. In fact from the minute she arrived at the studio, she had an air of business about her and seemingly more confidence and enthusiasm than for her first fight. She looked great, sounded great and promised that she would be a force to be reckoned with! Zara on the other hand was as calm as usual, but there was a definite edge in her pre-fight interview which hinted at what was to come.

  

There was no hesitation and from the very start both girls laid into each other with a unique vigour that only a rematch can bring about! The punching was immediately harder, more determined and ws definitely intended to inflict pain to the other. And both girls were matching each other blow for blow - this didn't stop on the deck as both girls threw jabs to the other whenever they could get an arm free.

  

As the catfight progressed so did the girls confidence and a variety of wrestling holds and moves were displayed alongside the constant freestyle grapplng and wild punching. At one point we were convinced that BB was going to gain a submission by way of an extremely painful scissors on Zara (the pain is evident on Zara's face!) but somehow Zara withstood it and even managed to reverse it! A submission came by way of a full nelson and a grapevine was even applied during the rounds.

  

Both girls showed great stamina and determination beyond that of their first encounter. Despite the painful punches and wrestling holds they carried on at pace, taking only a few seconds between rounds. This is a credit to both of the girls fitness levels. That is not to say however that they weren't exhausted come the last round... but adrenalin, commitment and sheet Catz Club guts were laid bare to complete the full five rounds.

  

As ever, we won't spoil the ending by telling you who won - but we will say that although the final score was very one sided, the catfight certainly wasn't. It all boiled down to one of the girls having that killer instinct and a complete will to win even at the cost of her own pain! The post-fight interviews tell their own story...  both girls want to come back for more, one keen to take on anyone, the other determined to get back on level terms. Overall, a cracking fight and a step up from their first encounter, which itself was very good indeed, in Cobra Pin Catfight 022.
